Teaching
New class (Fall 2025)
- Applied Artifical Intelligence (HSMP 6635). New class on how large language models (LLMs) and generative AI work and how to better use them. We will discuss ethical, environmental, and employment consequences. Most applications are related to healthcare and medicine, including replicating previous studies. The class explores practical applications of LLMs. More details are on the syllabus. I'll make some changes to the readings over the summer. If you have questions about the class or requests on topics you would like me to add, please email me: marcelo.perraillon@cuanschutz.edu.
